International Womens Day

Hand drawn by our very own Leigh Jennings (yes, that's the boy name spelt the girl way).
With the first ever International Womens day being celebrated back in 1909, women around the globe have certainly come a long way in all means of life since the cause was first highlighted.
Here at Nook & Cranny we are involved with so many female artists and encourage feminine traditions such as crochet, knitting and embroidery.
While we consider how far we've come, we recognise how conditions for women in many countries are yet to improve.
Here's to being a lady!
